The 1905 historical home was once owned by Henry H. Preston, the first salaried sheriff of Suffolk County. In keeping with the original floors, beams, fireplace, stonework, barn doors and hardware, The Preston House has been restored back to it's original glory. The New American restaurant houses 88 seats and an additional 50 with outdoor porch and lawn seating with a menu featuring fresh and local ingredients.
