The Galanias Hotel & Retreat is located on the central-eastern coast of Sardinia in Bari Sardo, a small town in
the Ogliastra region. The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the beach, lapped by a pine forest and overlooked by the
majestic Aragonese tower that divides the wide coastline in two. The town center is 4 kilometers away.
The hotel is built like an ancient village, with a central area housing the common areas and main services:
the reception, the lounge bar, the restaurant with patio and swimming pool with furnished solarium, one of the
multipurpose rooms for wellness activities and meetings, and 10 rooms.
Not far away is the Garden area with the other 47 rooms, located on the ground or first floor, surrounded
by a green Mediterranean garden featuring the new swimming pool with furnished solarium.
Most rooms have a small private patio or balcony furnished with armchairs. All
room types can have a double bed or twin beds. The rooms are equipped with a safe, minibar,
coffee maker (except Galanias rooms, which have a kettle), air conditioning/heating, satellite TV,
telephone, bathroom with shower, bathrobe and slippers, and hairdryer.
The hotel has three swimming pools. Two are in the central area, one with a whirlpool and the other with a
beach. A third, new pool is located in the garden, overlooked by the Pool rooms and most
of the Deluxe rooms. All pools have a large solarium furnished with loungers and umbrellas.
