Magictrips is a labor of love that has become an everyday part of my life. It's always difficult to ask for help and this is no exception. Website hosting works like this -- for every MB of traffic that is generated by the site (that could be someone reading a page of text, making a post, or downloading a file) we are billed by the hosting provider. This means that as traffic increases, the cost to host the site increases as well. In addition to hosting costs, it is also necessary to regularly upgrade computer software (particularly the forum system we use) as well as other improvements of the network. In a nutshell, with the growing traffic to both the main site and the discussion forums Magictrips is becoming more and more expensive to run. To date we've tried offsetting these costs with sponsor banners and through affiliate programs. However, it has become clear that we need a system in place to provide some income each month on a fairly regular basis if the site/forum is to survive.

Forum Site Supporter Membership
We are offering a paid subscription service to the Magictrips Community forums. It will of course be optional, but to make it worth while there will be a few enhanced features for paying subscribers.

Initially, the following features will be included on the forums for Paying Subscribers:

• Be known as a Magictrips.com Site Supporter.
• Access to private Site Supporters forum(s).
• Can use PM message tracking.
• PM limit for private messages increased from 50 to 500.
• A signature character limit of 2,000 instead of 1,500.
• Can add private entries in our Magictrips.com Calendar.
• File attachment upload limit increased from 5MB to 50MB.
• Photo Gallery upload limit increased from 5MB to 50MB.
• No banner ads on the forum.
