Child Care at Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World is the #1 place for families to vacation with their children. But, have you ever wondered about spending the evening at Pleasure Island without the kids? Or maybe a romantic dinner for just the two of you? It is possible for parents to enjoy guilt free time alone by taking advantage of Disney's in-room baby-sitting service or one of the supervised child care clubs at a Disney resort, where they'll be both cared for and entertained.

Cub's Den
Location: Disney's Wilderness Lodge
Hours: 4:30 p.m. to 12 midnight

This children's entertainment clubhouse offers supervised activities. Entertainment includes movies, video games, arts and crafts. Dinner included. Children must be ages four to 12. Open to all Resort Guests. Reservations accepted.

Never Land Club
Location: Disney's Polynesian Resort
Hours: 4 p.m. to 12 midnight

Offers supervised children's activities. Buffet dinner served from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Entertainment includes video games, arts and crafts and films. Children must be four to 12 years old. Reservations required.

Sandcastle Club

Offers activities and entertainment (Disney movies) for children ages four to 12. Dinner served from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Reservations required.

Mouseketeer Clubhouse

Offers activities, entertainment, and refreshments for children ages four to 12. Reservations required.

Simba's Cubhouse
Location: Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

Children can enjoy classic Disney movies, various arts and crafts, video games and a window to watch the animals roam about the savannah.

To register your child at one of the Child Care Clubs the minimum age is 4. There are NO exceptions! And all children MUST be potty trained. 

Beepers are provided to parents so you can be contacted in case of an emergency. Of course you can also call the childcare club at any time to check on your children, if desired.

Cancellations must be made at least 24-hours in advance, otherwise you will be charged a fee of $20 per child. Reservations are held for 30 minutes before they are released to other guests.

In-Room Babysitting Service

If your children are too young for one of the "kids clubs", you can still enjoy a night out by using an in-room babysitting service. Kid's Night Out has been a Disney authorized in-room babysitting service since 2001. All sitters are insured, bonded, trained in CPR, and over the age of 18. Childcare representatives include college-age, motherly, fatherly, and grandmotherly, caregivers. Complete background and reference checks are done on all sitters before they're hired, and many are bilingual. You can leave the kids at your Disney resort worry-free, they will be cared for and entertained. Your sitter will arrive with reading books, coloring books, and games.

In addition to caring for your children in your guest room, the sitters will also take your children to a theme park or other entertainment venue if you pay any admission fees (excluding water activities).

Kid's Night Out is available for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. They also care for children with special needs.

The Fine Print
* All rates are hourly based. Four (4) hour minimum charge. Caregiver transportation fee is $10.00. Reservations that begin after 8:59pm require an additional $2.00 per hour premium. Cancellations require a twenty-four (24) hour advance notice. Advance reservations are required. Holidays and special events require an additional premium. Rates are subject to change. Payment is by credit card only. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are accepted.

Additional Information
Sitters are available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Reservations can be made up to 3 months in advance, 7-days a week, from 8:00am to 9:00pm Eastern Time.
