Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Picture yourself on a clear starry night, strolling down the sidewalk, a fluffy white snow gently falling, echoes of Christmas carols emanating from rooftops, and the aroma of hot cocoa seeping through the air. You hear the laughter of children, see the dazzling sparkle of Christmas trees, the glow of candles, and the splendor of green wreaths with festive trim, arching their way down the avenue. Then you look straight ahead, and there it is, Cinderella's Castle aglow in the colors of the holiday season. For this is not some quaint Northeastern village you find yourself in, but you are one of the lucky guests attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. This party takes place after the park closes it's gates for the day, and reopens for Christmas Party ticket holders only.

This holiday spectacular, which takes place on special nights in the Magic Kingdom during the Christmas season, treats guests to a breathtaking snowfall showering Main Street USA; an unlimited supply of complimentary cookies and hot cocoa; characters dressed in their holiday best, with special greeting areas; a complimentary family photo; and a special edition of Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade, which takes place not once, but twice each night of the party. In addition, because this event requires purchase of one of a limited number of tickets, wait times at attractions are minimal.

Disney's elves do a spectacular job of sprinkling their pixie dust and adding Christmas magic to put you solidly in the Christmas spirit. Popcorn garland, gingerbread men, and larger than life whimsical trees appear overnight once your Thanksgiving tables are cleared and the world's Christmas preparations begin. This wonderful party is icing on the cake for guests who have come to Disney to celebrate this most festive of seasons.

Remember, this is a "hard ticket" event, so your Park Hopper Passes, Unlimited Magic Pass, or Annual Passports, will not get you into this event. You must purchase a separate ticket by calling 1-407-W-DISNEY.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2009

This event will be held from 7pm–12am on the following dates:

• November 10, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 29
• December 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18

This December the Magic Kingdom park will be transformed into a winter wonderland with snow on Main Street, U.S.A., carolers and don't forget Santa Goofy!
