The Seven Lands of Magic Kingdom

Main Street U.S.A.
Everyone enters the park and walks down Main Street U.S.A. This famous street, replicating a scene out of America 100 years ago, is where many Disney-veterans would like to take up residence, but alas, these offices and apartments are not for sale. This extremely clean thoroughfare to the land of make-believe, whose streets are washed down with fire hoses every night, is address to the many shops and restaurants that line it. With it's glimmering array of collectibles, the must-have Princess-wear, and mouth-watering baked goods and candy, there's a shop for everyone right here. You'll find more than one cast member carrying a shimmering bundle of Mickey balloons, and hear many a child begging for "just one Mommy, please!"

The best part of Main Street, U.S.A. though, is not its Mickey-shaped chocolate suckers, assortment of Sleeping Beauty Sleepwear, or the Dopey watch in the window, but the view one gets of Cinderella's Castle as you walk right down the center of the street. Also, as you walk past the confectioner making peanut brittle, and the horses transporting delighted families toward the castle, glance up at the windows on the shops and buildings. The names that are painted on the windows are that of Disney family members, and others associated with Walt Disney Company. In addition to being a home to the Walt Disney World Railroad and the Main Street Vehicles, the Town Square Exposition Hall can be found in this shopping Mecca of the Magic Kingdom Park.

Perhaps Walt Disney's most famous landmark is Cinderella's Castle, as it rises majestically at the end of Main Street U.S.A. at a height of 190 feet, it is made of steel and fiberglass. You can dine in the Castle, perhaps the most popular dining option being Cinderella's Royal Table.

Adventureland
As you enter the area known as Adventureland, you will delight at being in one of the best themed lands in the Magic Kingdom. You'll know you aren't in suburbia USA anymore, but feel you are on the trail with Indiana Jones himself. You'll bask amidst the sounds of exotic birds, the sway of tropical trees, and the distant sounds of beating drums. Look around and you'll see more than one child in their Pirates hat, singing "Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me!"

Tomorrowland
For those of you in the mood to save the Universe, coast through the darkness of space or take part in a teleportation thriller, Tomorrowland is the place for you. Amidst the shimmering silver attractions and shops you will tour the future that never was. Tomorrowland is the land where kids can be kids, and adults can be kids as well. Arguably, this is the best themed land to visit at night, with it's attractions trimmed in colorful neon-light and it's futuristic rides, this land combines for an awesome twilight tour. While it has it's ample share of thrill attractions, it also plays host to some extremely popular children's (or timid adult's) favorites as well. So, whether you are partial to Buzz Lightyear or aliens, outdoor rocket vehicles or indoor coaster rides, time-machines or peaceful trams, you should find a ride to suit your taste, and nerves here!

Frontierland
While Adventureland takes park guests to exotic locales, Frontierland will transport you and yours back to the 19th century American Frontier. Walk amidst an atmosphere that the likes of Marshall Dillon and Injun Joe called home! Besides being home to some of Disney's most popular attractions, this land is interspersed with wooden sidewalks, a picturesque saloon, and mercantile shops, making this one of the more popular lands in the Magic Kingdom. While you won't find lamp oil or gun powder among the offerings here, perhaps you'd like to purchase a box of Snow White chocolates or Mickey plush to round out the day here. Although it may sound like a quirky combination, Brer Rabbit and cowboy heroes go hand in hand in this twist of the American Frontier.

Fantasyland
"Once Upon A Time..." is the most fitting phrase to describe Fantasyland. When one enters this most magical of all the lands in the Magic Kingdom you are instantly immersed in the splendor of Disney's classic animated films. Walt Disney himself called this land a timeless land of enchantment. Here, as the majesty of Cinderella's Castle towers above, storybook fantasy has come to life for all its visitors in a most festive way. This is where Dad will wait in line like no other with his Princess for a ride on Dumbo "the one with the purple hat", and Mom lets her pint-sized Prince get his new clothes soaking wet among the fountains in Ariel's Grotto. You'll find parking lots of strollers surrounding most attractions, and more than one person humming the tune "It's a world of laughter, a world of tears" as you take in all this land of make-believe has to offer.

Liberty Square
Amidst the shade of a giant old oak, aptly named Liberty Tree, patriotism and the Spirit of ‘76 abound in the area known as Liberty Square. The small buildings and shops in this area, often brick front with white trim, are decorated with a glorious display of flowers, shrubs, and shopkeepers dressed similarly to the style of Paul Revere and Betsy Ross. It is in this time capsule of the Spirit of America, where you may hear the flute and drums of some very talented patriots playing Yankee Doodle Dandy as you board the most majestic of steamboats. Nowhere else will you find a gathering of many of America's living and deceased Presidents right around the corner from a gathering of 999 happy haunts!

Mickey's Toontown Fair
Near Fantasyland is the Magic Kingdom's newest area, that of Mickey's Toontown Fair. This pint-sized perfect area is home to the Country Cottages of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Pete's Garage, and Donald's wacky boat - the "Miss Daisy" to name a few. A great place for character autograph hounds, you can arrive in this whimsical land via the Walt Disney World Railroad or by taking one of the paths from Space Mountain or the Mad Tea Party. So take some time to relax in Minnie's Florida room or Mickey's living room, pop some popcorn or bake a cake, and don't forget to bring your camera to the friendliest neighborhood in all the World.
