Cinderella's Castle

Location: Fantasyland

Probably the most iconic Disney symbol outside of the Mickey head shape, Cinderella Castle is the enduring landmark of the Magic Kingdom. Constructed entirely of a steel frame with a fiberglass skin and standing 190 feet tall, Cinderella Castle marks the center of the park and can be seen from all lands.

The castle has a forecourt where Disney puts on entertainment shows. You can also walk through the castle as a short-cut to get to Fantasyland. To the East of the castle is a small garden where Belle tells stories to young ones.

The shop that used to exist in the walk-through tunnel has been replaced by the Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo boutique where little girls can become princesses for a day. There is also a restaurant upstairs where the Cinderella's Royal Table character breakfast occurs each morning - a very hard to get reservation.

As part of the Year of a Million Dreams celebration, the rooms that were originally built in the castle to house its creator, and was temporarily the home of the WDW switchboard operators, has been transformed into a royal apartment where "Dream" winners get to spend a night in the castle.
