Epcot Touring Tips
There is a mandatory security check at all Epcot entrances. Be prepared to open your backpacks, purses, parcels etc. for inspection by Disney security personnel prior to entering the theme park.
If you are in need of any information, you can stop at Guest Relations, situated next to Spaceship Earth. They have supplies of guidemaps and time guides. The Cast Members are staffed to help you with any questions and problems that might arise from your visit.
Please remember to check Epcot's Tip Board in Innoventions Plaza throughout your day to keep current on the wait times for the various attractions.
Lockers are located near the Kodak Camera Center and the restrooms at Epcot's Entrance Plaza. They can also be found at the Bus Information Center and the International Gateway by World Showcase.
Strollers, Wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles can be rented from both park entrances. Quantities are limited and don't forget if you are Park Hopping to keep your receipt and you will be able to get a replacement at the other theme park.
Break away for lunch by taking the water taxi from the World Showcase Gateway to either the BoardWalk or Yacht & Beach Club resorts.
In the unfortunate event of getting separated from a child, please alert a Disney employee as soon as possible or you can report the child missing at Guest Relations & the Baby Care Center.
The Camera Center on the west side of the Entrance Plaza and World Traveler at the Gateway can help with all your film taking needs. Film is sold at almost every Epcot shop and there is also another camera store inside Imaginations! Pavilion.
Guests can forward their purchases to the Gift Ship at Epcot's Entrance Plaza at no charge. Just pick your parcels up as you leave the theme park. Please allow at least 2 to 3 hours between your purchase and pick-up. And of course, WDW guests may have their packages forwarded to any Walt Disney World resort.
The first-aid office is located next to the Odyssey Center. They can handle minor medical problems. Aspirin and Band-Aids are free of charge. You may also purchase other medications at MouseGear in Innoventions East and the Gift Stop in the Entrance Plaza. Please inquire as these are not on display.
The Baby Care Center located in the Odyssey Center, between Test Track and Mexico has changing tables and facilities for nursing mothers. If you are also in need of disposable diapers, they are kept behind the counters at many Epcot shops, so please ask!
A fantastic place to watch IlluminNations is from the Rose & Crown in the UK pavilion, the Cantina de San Angel in Mexico and the Matsu No Ma Lounge in Japan.
Remember to have your hand stamped and retain your ticket as you are leaving Epcot in case you are visiting another of Disney's theme parks on the same day.
Mealtime Tips
Don't dismiss an early seating if you can secure one. By having lunch at 11:30 am or a dinner at 5:30 pm it will provide the opportunity to eat during the uncrowded times where you can enjoy your meal and not feel rushed.
It's a good idea to arrange your Advanced Dining reservations well in advance of your arrival to WDW. But don't be discouraged if you haven't, sometimes you can get lucky and get same day reservations or walk up and be able to still get a table.
With a 24 hour notice, full service restaurants will accommodate special dietary needs by providing low-sodium, lactose-free, kosher and other selections for dining guests. Please make your request when booking your arrangements.
