Mexico Pavilion, World Showcase

Moving clockwise from the entrance to World Showcase the first pavilion you find is Mexico. This country has two restaurants, a feature boat ride and various ad hoc entertainment groups.

The overall design is of a Mayan pyramid. A little know fact is that the nightly laser, water and fireworks show, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is controlled from a booth at the top of this building.

On entering the building you come into a night-time setting where the Plaza de los Amigos contains a Mexican marketplace. To the left of the plaza, you will find the entrance/exit area of the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros which replaced the Rio del Tiempo. It's the same ride but with the new theme.

At the rear of the plaza is the San Angel Inn which is this pavilion's table service restaurant. This restaurant has a very romantic setting which overlooks the boat ride.

Back outside the building you will find the Cantina de San Angel which is the pavilion's counter service restaurant which serves Mexican fast food staples such as tacos, burritos, nachos and churros.

Live entertainment is provided both inside and outside by Mariachi Cobre.
