Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival

The 14th annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will run
September 25-November 8, 2009!

Details will be published as soon as they are available!

Scrumptious food, fine wine, and a mug of beer would probably bring a smile to more than one Walt Disney World guest. The fact that you could find them all, at your fingertips, within one Disney park makes it even better. Every year, since 1995, Disney's Epcot theme park has been host to the "International Food & Wine Festival". It is a month long celebration which features some of the finest food and drink as well as an array of live entertainment to add to the festivities.

You can browse among different international food and wine displays which are nestled into the 11 World Showcase countries and special festival marketplaces. Each offers a tempting arrangement of culinary samples, including beer and wine tastings, representing different regions from around the globe. Prices for these appetizer-size portions vary, but are generally in the $1 - $4.50 range. In addition to the multitude of displays, there are wine education programs, reserved dinners, and a lineup of special events to fill your days and evenings throughout the duration of the festival.

Some past regions of the world and specialties represented for this festival include: Australia, Piemonte: The Land of Chocolate, South America, Great Beers of the World, Champagne & Sparkling Wine, Cognac, Brandy & Port, Canada, China, France, Fresh from Florida, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco & Mediterranean, New Zealand, Poland, Russia & Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Southeast Asia, Spain, Specialty Beer Garden, South Africa, and the U.S.A.

To further quench your entertainment appetite, well-known artists perform nightly on the "America Gardens Stage". Not to be outdone by the dozens of performers, ranging from acrobats to musicians, who add street-festival pizzazz to every moment of this yearly celebration with an intense international flair.

Around World Showcase you will encounter an assortment of national and international beers to stimulate your taste buds. The United Kingdom Pavilion offers a taste of the "Old World" through its beer seminar and the American Pavilion cannot be eclipsed with its highly popular "Specialty Beer Garden". Furthermore, there are usually wineries conducting seminars, wine boutiques, and a wine tasting bar, so those who prefer the finer drinks in life will find much to please their palate.

Whether you want to enjoy the fine wines of France or the festive Oktoberfest of Germany, if you plan on being in Walt Disney World during this yearly special event be sure to plan some time to take in this gala! Here you will literally have the world and all its delectable dishes and drinks at your fingertips. Please note entrance to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is free with regular Epcot admission.
