Serves:	Lunch -- 11:30 to 3:45 p.m. Dinner -- 4:00 p.m. to park close.
Atmosphere:	This is another restaurant, like Akershus in Norway, that initially does not attract visitors who will instead head for "safe havens" like Canada and the United Kingdom. There they pretty much recognize what they want and what they'll get. Marrakesh will surprise many. The main dishes are based on chicken, lamb and beef. The way they are cooked is what is different. This restaurant is worth the visit.
Writer's Thoughts:	This is not Middle Eastern food; this is North African food. Across the Straits of Gibraltar from Morocco is Spain and the influence that the respective cultures have on each other cuisines is amazingly balanced. These dishes would be equally at home in either Seville or Rabat. The servers are wonderfully accommodating and are happy to explain what the dishes comprise. We rate the food here very highly and, because Moroccan food is not exactly a familiar meal in U.S. households, you can usually walk in and get a table without too much trouble.
