Walt Disney World Character Meals

Where else can you enjoy good food and get to meet-and-greet some of your favorite Disney characters without having to hunt them down in a theme park. For many people one of their best dining experiences is a character meal. This is the one place that the characters actually make their way around to you, stopping at each table to sign autographs and posing for time treasured photos. Meals will be served in one of three ways:

        Pre-Plated - Each guest will be served individual plates with the same meal.
        Family-Style - Food will be served to your table in large bowls, plates, and/or skillets and you serve yourself.
        Traditional Buffet-Style - Each guest will serve him or her self at a buffet bar.

All options are an all-you-can-eat for one fixed price per meal. If you'd like to have seconds at the pre-plated or family-style meals you just need to ask your server. Children under the age of 3 will be able to dine for free, whereas any child over the age of 9 will be required to pay adult prices. Also, the listed prices do NOT include tax or gratuity.

Although it is possible to attend a character meal without Advanced Dining Reservations (ADR) during the slower seasons, it's recommended to call beforehand to avoid disappointments. Arrangements can be made by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

Magic Kingdom:

• Cinderella's Royal Table (Breakfast, Lunch, Signature Dining Dinner)
  Located on the 2nd floor of Cinderella's Castle. Characters include Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother. Belle, Jasmine and Snow White may also show up, but are not guaranteed. Breakfast and Lunch are princess-themed character meals. Dinner is hosted by the Fairy Godmother who will lead the observance of special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. This is the hardest Character Meal to reserve, Advanced Reservation is a must!

• Crystal Palace (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
  Head down Main Street, U.S.A., make a left at Casey's Corner, and enjoy a buffet-style meal with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore. There is a separate buffet set up for kids called "Pooh's Corner". Advanced Reservation is recommended.

Epcot:

• Garden Grill Restaurant (Dinner)
  Located in Future World, the Land Pavillion. Characters include Mickey, Chip and Dale, and Pluto; all in farmer-style attire. Advanced Reservation is recommended.

• Princess Storybook Dining (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
  Located in World Showcase, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion. This family-style breakfast will feature Disney princesses and friends. The most likely characters to be there are Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and/or Mary Poppins. Advanced Reservation is recommended.

Disney's Hollywood Studios:

• Playhouse Disney's Play 'N Dine (Breakfast, Lunch)
  Located at Hollywood & Vine restaurant, Hollywood Boulevard, Disney's Hollywood Studios. Playhouse Disney pals such as JoJo and Goliath from JoJo's Circus, and June and Leo from Disney's Little Einsteins, host two fun-filled musical meals: a breakfast buffet and a lunch buffet.

Disney's Animal Kingdom:

• Donald's Safari Breakfast (Breakfast)
  Located at Tusker House. Characters include Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Mickey. This is an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Resorts:

• 'Ohana Character Breakfast (Breakfast)
  Located at Disney's Polynesian Resort. Characters include Lilo and Stitch, Pluto, and Mickey. The meal is served family-style and features breads, eggs, waffles, meats, fruit and more. Advanced Reservation is recommended.

• Cape May Cafe (Breakfast)
  Located at Disney's Beach Club Resort. Goofy, Minnie and Donald are on hand for this buffet-style breakfast.

• Chef Mickey's (Breakfast, Dinner)
  Located at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Chef Mickey, Chef Goofy, Chip and Dale are on hand for this buffet-style breakfast and dinner. Advanced Reservation is recommended.

• Cinderella's Gala Feast (Dinner)
  Located in 1900 Park Fare restaurant at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Although some characters may only be in the lobby for photos, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, Drizella, and the Fairy Godmother are regulars.

• Supercalifragilistic Breakfast (Breakfast)
  Located in 1900 Park Fare restaurant at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Current characters are Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, and the Mad Hatter.
