AMC Pleasure Island 24 Theatres Complex
The latest rumor mill says that AMC is going to bring IMAX presentations to this location which will either mean refurbishments of some of the theaters already enclosed in the building or making use of the property at the soon-to-be-vacant Virgin Megastore opposite. This AMC Theater, also known as Pleasure Island 24 in Downtown Disney West End, is a very large facility which has all the latest movies and, especially with recent Disney releases, can have a screening almost every half-hour. There are 24 separate theatres and 5,400 seats (all stadium theater-style) making this theatre one of the largest in Central Florida.
